About the Position

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups: newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric.
• Respond rapidly to emergency situations including trauma, stroke, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and document in Epic EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float as required to other departments.
• Charge Nurse duties may be required – Charge capability highly preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of recent Emergency Department RN experience (including some pediatric experience)
• Epic EMR experience
• Current active NY RN license.
• Certifications (AHA-approved):

2. BLS
3. PALS
4. NIHSS
5. TNCC
