Position: Hindi Audio Generalist Evaluator Expert (San Francisco Bay Area)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50/hour
Location: San Francisco Bay Area
Commitment: 10–20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Transcribe and optimize audio and video content in Hindi, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Produce high-quality written outputs in Hindi, with supporting work in English.
- Establish and document evaluation standards for general consumer audio contexts .
- Conduct model testing and grading, evaluating responses for accuracy and fluency.
- Support benchmarking and quality assurance to maintain consistency and reliability.
- Collaborate with project leads to resolve ambiguities and improve task design.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Strong writing, editing, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Native or near-native fluency in Hindi and professional fluency in English.
- Strong familiarity with spoken Hindi, regional vocabulary, and dialects.
- Ability to transcribe and analyze Hindi audio content accurately.
- Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Available to commit 10–20 hours per week .
Preferred
- College students or recent graduates.
- Background in linguistics, humanities, social sciences, journalism, or technical disciplines.
- Prior experience with transcription, annotation, or evaluation workflows in Hindi.
- Familiarity with Hindi-English code-switching and regional language variation.
- Interest in AI, language models, or applied research environments.
