Quality Engineer

I’m currently partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking a Quality Engineer to support plant operations and drive continuous quality improvements across the business. This is a highly visible role working cross-functionally with operations, leadership, and customers to resolve issues, improve processes, and strengthen overall quality systems. What you’ll be doing: Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for internal and customer quality issues (8D) Partner with operations to identify and resolve process inefficiencies Support and maintain quality systems aligned to ISO/IATF standards Conduct internal audits and layered process audits (LPAs) Oversee non-conforming materials and disposition processes Assist with PPAP documentation and customer submissions Train and support teams on quality standards, SPC, and best practices Maintain documentation including FMEA, control plans, and flow charts What we’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field 5+ years of experience in a quality-focused role Strong understanding of GD&T and measurement systems Experience with ISO/IATF standards and SPC methodologies Proven ability to lead problem-solving initiatives across teams Strong communication and technical writing skills Why consider this opportunity?
