Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Location

Mesquite, TX

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days/Mid - 06:30 AM to 03:00 PM or 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing care in the Operating Room, with a focus on orthopedic, podiatry, gynecology, and general/laparoscopic procedures. Candidates should bring at least two years of experience, preferably with circulating experience. Scrubbing skills would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating room procedures as a circulating nurse.
• Coordinate patient care and ensure the safety and comfort of patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Prepare the operating room and manage surgical equipment.
• Take part in the on-call rotations, including evening and weekend shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• A minimum of two years' experience in an operating room setting.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS required.
• Nursys report needed within 30 days of hiring.
