• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,350-$1,420

• Start Date: September 28, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Part-time night shift, Wednesday and Saturday nights
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited LVN/LPN program
• Active California Licensed Vocational Nurse license
• Current BLS certification
• At least 1 year of skilled nursing or long-term care experience required
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
• Basic computer skills; electronic health record (EHR) experience preferred
• Additional languages preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess resident condition and identify nursing needs in a skilled nursing facility
• Develop and implement appropriate nursing actions based on assessments
• Administer medications safely using the eight medication rights
• Document resident changes, progress notes, and care plans accurately in the electronic health record
• Communicate changes in resident condition and follow through on physician orders
• Provide clear shift-to-shift handoff reports to support continuity of care
• Supervise CNAs and supportive staff as needed to carry out the plan of care
• Support resident and family education while promoting dignity, respect, and advocacy
• Follow infection control procedures, facility policies, and emergency protocols
