As a diagnostic medical sonographer, you will have the privilege of operating sonographic equipment, performing diagnostic examinations, and communicating the results to healthcare providers. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, which includes patient scheduling, equipment maintenance, and quality assessment. Your role will also include training current staff and ensuring that any equipment failures are reported promptly. This position offers a flexible schedule, with mostly day shifts and one night of call per week. You can also expect to work approximately every sixth weekend.
