Registered Nurse

This position involves providing care in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting during night shifts. The nurse will be responsible for managing a variety of patient diagnoses, including complex emergency department admissions. The role is fast-paced and requires the ability to handle a high volume of patients. Nurses will float between various departments within their specialty. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Holidays will also be required as scheduled. The average daily census ranges from a minimum of 10 patients to up to 40 patients. Patient ratios are typically 1:6. Required skills include managing cardiac telemetry, ventilated patients, and IV administration. Nurses will also manage central lines, chest tubes, and perform wound care. Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
