Job Opportunity: Onsite Interventional Radiology Assignment Overview

Specialty: Radiology (Interventional + General)
Coverage Type: Onsite Clinic Only
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM EST
License: Kentucky (KY)
Certification: Board Certified (BC)
Credentialing: 90 Days

Clinical Scope & Procedures

This role requires a mix of General Diagnostic and Interventional procedures.

Fluoro Requirements: BE, UGI, Mod BAS, SMB, etc. (Fluoro is recorded and sent to PACS for the Radiologist).
Required IR Procedures:

Drainage/Aspiration: Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, CT-Guided Drain Tube Placements, Fluoro-Guided Aspirations.
Biopsy: CT Biopsy (Kidney, Bone, Liver, Lung, etc.), US Biopsy/Aspiration ( No Breast ).
Access/Catheters: Tunnel Caths, Trialysis Caths, Fluoro-Guided G-Tube Placements, CT-Guided Percutaneous Neph Tube Placements.
Spine/Joint: Myelograms, Spinal Punctures, Arthrograms (Hip, Shoulder, Wrist, Knee).

Productivity & Technical

Productivity Expectation: 55 RVUs per shift.

Dictation Software: PowerScribe 4.0
