Float Patient Relations Associate

Role Overview Oak Street Health is seeking Patient Relations Associates to serve as insurance experts at each clinic, advocating for patients and guiding them through insurance options and bills. Location Stone Mountain, Moreland, and South Dekalb (float among the three locations). Candidates must be able to travel to all three sites. Responsibilities Advise patients and the care team on Medicare and Medicaid coverage and benefits. Support patients during Medicare Open Enrollment, ensuring they are informed of all options. Provide guidance on billing, eligibility, and insurance questions. Collaborate with outreach and care teams to address patient needs. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience helping patients or customers understand insurance coverage, especially Medicare and Medicaid. Strong problem‑solving orientation with a flexible and positive attitude. Sales or commission‑driven background preferred. Experience working with older adults and a supportive attitude toward this population. CRM experience a plus. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience. Ability to navigate the health care system, particularly Medicare and Managed Care. Hours & Compensation Anticipated weekly hours: 40. Full‑time. Pay range: $21.10 – $40.90 per hour (or equivalent full‑time salary). Pay depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
