About the Position

Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit setting during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to assess patient cardiac status
• Manage patients with complex pulmonary conditions, including those with tracheostomies and chest tubes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 18 months of Telemetry nursing experience
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Strong pulmonary nursing background
• Proficiency with telemetry interpretation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience managing patients with tracheostomies and chest tubes
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
