Assistant ManagerThe UPS Store #3006 is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team in Henrico, Virginia. As the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting the Store Manager in managing a team of staff members. This is a full-time, hourly customer service job with a focus on management. The compensation for this role is $17 to $20 per hour and is paid semi-monthly.Compensation & Benefits:Hourly compensation: $17 to $20 per hour (based on experience)Paid semi-monthlyOpportunities for career growth and advancement within the companyComprehensive training programsGenerous employee discount on UPS servicesResponsibilities:Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including but not limited to, staffing, scheduling, store maintenance, inventory management, and customer serviceTrain and develop team members to provide excellent customer service and adhere to company policies and proceduresResolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional mannerEnsure all company policies and procedures are followed consistently by all team membersMonitor and maintain inventory levels and order supplies as neededCreate and maintain a positive work environment for all team membersAssist with financial management, including cash handling, deposits, and reportingAct as the Store Manager in their absenceRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferredPrevious management experience in a retail or customer service environmentExcellent customer service and communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and occasional overtimeProficient in Microsoft Office and point of sale systemsMust be able to lift up to 50lbsMust be able to pass a background check and drug testEEOC Statement:The UPS Store #3006 is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions based on qualifications, experience, and merit.
