Job Summary
Rockford, Illinois This radiology technologist position involves performing radiographic procedures at a level that requires independent judgment and technical proficiency. Candidates are expected to operate imaging equipment accurately and efficiently, follow provider instructions, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Location: Rockford, Illinois
• Specialty: Xray Technologist
• Schedule: Nights (12-hour shifts) 12 hours per shift. Candidates must be available for every third weekend rotation.
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), at least 1 year of experience, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in radiology is preferred. Education requirements include a relevant radiologic technology degree or equivalent.
• Preferred Qualifications: Level I Trauma certification is preferred but not required.
• Additional Information: No on-call responsibilities. Weekend rotation occurs every third weekend. Experience operating Carestream portables (3 units), four imaging rooms including one in the emergency department, nine C-arms (OEC/GE), including a 3D model, Medtronic O arm, and fluoroscopy (Carestream). The work involves outpatient, emergency department, and inpatient settings. The cancellation policy requires 12 hours' notice every 13 weeks.
