Certified Dental Assistant (28077)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant II on behalf of our client to support a busy, patient-focused dental practice. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and comfortable working chairside in a fast-paced clinical environment while ensuring excellent patient care and efficient office flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories according to infection control standards
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Perform expanded duties permitted under DA II certification (as applicable by state regulations)
- Prepare materials for restorations, impressions, and temporary crowns
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in patient charts
- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
- Support front office or lab tasks as needed to maintain workflow
Qualifications
- 2+ minimum of experience
- Active Dental Assistant II certification
- Current radiography certification
- CPR/BLS certification
- Previous clinical dental assisting experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of dental Dentrix software and digital charting preferred
Work Schedule
Monday – Thursday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: $47,160 - $57,740 Annual
