CareDx offers products, testing services, and digital healthcare solutions along the pre- and post-transplant patient journey, and is the leading provider of genomics-based information for transplant patients.As the Quality Assurance (QA) Lead, you will partner across multiple functions to drive quality excellence, ensure compliance with applicable quality system regulations and software standards, and support the continued growth of CareDx's product portfolio.This highly collaborative role is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality system processes that support CLIA, FDA, and GCLP regulatory requirements. The QA Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams, field personnel, and colleagues across CareDx sites to promote quality compliance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.Success in this role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment, and a passion for partnering across departments to achieve shared goals. The QA Lead may also participate in cross-functional project teams and provide Design Control guidance for Laboratory Developed Test (LDT) services, helping ensure quality is embedded throughout the product lifecycle.Responsibilities:Managing the electronic Quality Management System(EQMS) system to assure compliance to inhouse and/or external specifications and standards such as GMPs and CLIA. Includes basic system administrator responsibilities, creating new hire accounts, assigning training requirements, account terminations, training to users on how to use the EQMS, system maintenance such as periodic upgrades and troubleshootingExperience with writing and executing EQMS software validation protocolsLead Quality System processes for Corrective/Preventive Actions, Supplier Corrective Actions, Supplier Qualifications, Complaints, Non-conforming Materials and Management reviewsManufacturing batch record reviewsQuality review of procedures, forms, and other materials in collaboration with other departmentsProvide general guidance to personnel on quality requirementsSupport GCLP compliance and auditsParticipate in external and internal audits as neededParticipate in development projects to support design controls and risk management processesAny other duty as assigned by QA department managementQualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in scientific field with at least 5-8 years of related experience in Quality AssuranceGeneral knowledge and understanding of FDA/QMSR, ISO13485 and CLIAExperience in a CLIA-regulated laboratory environment and strong knowledge of Laboratory regulationsExperience with administrator responsibilities for commercially available document control databases strongly desiredExperience with FDA, CLIA, CAP, NY State audits and inspections preferredKnowledgeable in supplier control and supplier monitoringExperience in performing internal and external quality auditsExperience with PCR or RUO or IVD sequencing assays desirableComputer skills competency including Excel, Word and PowerPoint programs requiredDemonstrated ability to present to upper ManagementEvery individual at CareDx has a direct impact on our collective mission to improve the lives of organ transplant patients worldwide. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience within the job, the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units. CareDx is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.San Francisco Bay Area Roles: $112,000 - $140,000 USD
