Job Summary:
Under supervision, repair, calibrate, and maintain all types of basic clinical equipment technologies, devices instruments, and systems. Inspect, install, and provide preventive maintenance of general clinical equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Duties include:
· Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
· Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect a diverse range of therapeutic and diagnostic, biomedical instrumentation, and equipment.
· Perform preventive maintenance and electrical safety testing of clinical equipment, devices, and systems.
· Maintain documentation on new equipment, inspections, and equipment repairs and failures.
· Provide technical assistance and instruction on equipment operation and maintenance to personnel.
· Perform related duties as assigned.
· Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by conducting safety tests, recommending and complying with procedures.
