Event Dishwasher

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team at our event center. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment during weddings, corporate events, banquets, and other special occasions. The ideal candidate is a team player who takes pride in keeping the kitchen running smoothly and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Responsibilities
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing equipment and by hand as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors and clean work surfaces throughout each shift.
Assist with cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas in accordance with health and safety standards.
Restock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies in designated storage areas.
Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and organizational tasks as needed.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
Help with event setup and breakdown duties when requested.
Qualifications
No previous experience required; experience in a commercial kitchen is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive motions.
Comfortable working in a hot, wet, and fast-paced kitchen environment.
