Department Overview In the Wealth Management division, we help people, businesses and institutions build, preserve, and manage wealth so they can pursue their financial goals Wealth Management (WM) Platforms manages industry-leading platforms, across all WM channels and client segments, to provide a unified digital experience, unlock growth, and deliver efficiencies for Advisors, Clients, and Institutions. WM Platforms consists of nine sub-teams including: Field Experience & Platforms, Digital Client Experience & Platforms, Workplace Platforms, Automation & Workflow Solutions, Digital Trading & Investing, UX Design & Research, Strategy & Execution. Business Control & Support, and the Chief Operating Office. The Wealth Management Field Experience & Platforms group manages the prioritization and implementation of the Wealth Management Division’s investments in technology tools and solutions for Financial Advisors and Support Professionals. The team works directly with Financial Advisors and all Wealth Management businesses to help translate business needs into technology initiatives. What you’ll do in the role: The platform we are continuously enhancing integrates a broad range of capabilities designed to support Financial Advisors and branch support and management staff. As an advocate for the user experience, the position involves working with end users to understand requirements, and the ability to translate those needs to systems developers. It will be necessary to support the existing business needs of MSWM branches, support staff, specialists and operational staff while also working to enhance the current technology platforms including both the desktop and mobile platforms. Note that this is a business-position rather than a technology position – it requires the ability to understand both sides of the equation and to provide necessary direction to the projects. The position requires leading working teams in a collaborative fashion to achieve desired results as it relates to the implementation of new technology solutions. The candidate must be able to manage technology BA’s/PM’s to keep initiatives on track and budget. The candidate must also be able to lead the full delivery of new solutions to field users including messaging to field leadership, training, field communication strategy & a support model. Additional responsibilities include review of Functional Requirements, and problem resolution on behalf of the branches. Branch visits across the country are necessary to have a full understanding of a day in the life of our branch personnel. Skills Required: At least 8 years’ experience in the Financials Industry Demonstrated experience with technology implementations and the entire SDLC process Previous experience working with Financial/Wealth Advisors is highly desirable Experience writing business requirements for large projects Experience leading large scale technology initiatives BA/BS Degree Strong knowledge and interest in new technologies, from an end-user perspective. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Proficient in Agile Methodology approach to technology delivery and project management

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $190,000 per year atthe commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualizedbasis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may alsoinclude commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-termincentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
