Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Mid Shift (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM) | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across all acuity levels
• Deliver care to pediatric patients as part of a comprehensive emergency services team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient treatment
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation schedules as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large, high-volume hospital Emergency Department
• Pediatric emergency nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing high patient volumes in a fast-paced emergency environment
• Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills in emergency and trauma situations
