Shop Laborer

Volt is hiring for a Shop Operator position with a leading metals manufacturing company in Transfer, PA.


As a Shop Operator, you will:

• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines on the floor
• Perform visual inspection of materials to ensure quality standards
• Transport materials throughout production and packaging areas
• Load and unload materials for production operations
• Package and label materials according to specifications
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Assist with general production and support tasks as needed

This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.
Night Shift (Overtime and extended shifts required)


The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work on your feet
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be ITAR compliant (U.S. Person required)

Pay: $18.50 /hr. + $1.00 shift differential
