Job Location Prairie View, Texas Job Type Faculty Job Description The Department of Accounting, Finance, & MIS is seeking a full-time, non‑tenure‑track faculty position beginning in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will teach five undergraduate accounting courses per semester, serve on department and college committees, and pursue professional development. Responsibilities Teach five classes each semester in the accounting area as assigned by the department head. Participate in department and college operations by serving on committees, task forces, student organizations, etc. Engage in research or other intellectual activities and obtain professional certifications. Perform other duties as assigned by the department or college. Required Education and Experience Master’s degree in Accounting from a regionally accredited institution. No prior teaching experience required. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to teach effectively at the college level. Strong written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in accounting from an AACSB accredited institution. CPA/CMA/CIA certification. Three years of college‑level teaching experience, including introductory and intermediate accounting and auditing courses.
