Job Purpose The Logistics Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing supply chain and distribution processes to ensure the efficient, cost-effective movement of goods and materials across the organization's network. Based in Grand Island, NE Key Responsibilities Responsible for monitoring supply of raw materials, stock levels, storage capability, and levels of demand based on business initiatives. Creates integrated processes among internal functions as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. Focuses resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production/distribution processes and establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance. Oversees the scheduling of deliveries to prevent excess stock or backorders. Directs maintenance of records and data essential to material programs including materials resource planning. Considers short, medium, and long-term supply plans to ensure security for supply and optimize profit for each supply chain. Develops risk assessment and contingency plans should demand exceed supply. Other related duties as assigned. appcast Experience Required A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Pay Transparency ​The annual salary for this role is $86,625 - $115,500 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
