Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy professional to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy care within an acute care setting.
• Collaborate with physical therapy aides and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure adherence to scheduling, including every third weekend and holiday rotations.
• Utilize Cerner for efficient and accurate patient charting.
• Participate in an 8-hour orientation specific to all modalities prior to starting shifts.
• Communicate effectively with the charge nurse and clinical manager.

Qualifications

• Current California Occupational Therapy license and BLS Certification.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in occupational therapy with at least 1 year in an acute care hospital.
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.
• Must have license to submit applications.
• Prepared to work 10-hour shifts and every third weekend, as needed.
• COVID-19 vaccine certification required.
