Project Engineer

Location : Idaho Falls, ID 100% Onsite Schedule: 4x10 (Mon-Thu) Period of Performance : 08/01/2026 - 09/30/2027

Position Summary

The Project Engineer will support by providing engineering support for planning, design, documentation, field execution, and project implementation in accordance with DOE requirements.

Essential Duties

· Develop engineering and project documentation.

· Support design, modification, and operation of DOE facilities.

· Prepare schedules, cost estimates, and technical reports.

· Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders.

· Support field activities and engineering implementation.

· Ensure compliance with DOE standards and project procedures.

· Participate in technical reviews and project meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.

· Minimum 5 years of directly related engineering experience.

· Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· DOE facility experience.

· Knowledge of DOE Orders and nuclear project engineering.

· Experience with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Safety Requirements

Must comply with all environmental, safety, health, quality, security, and Integrated Safety Management System requirements.
