Senior FP&A Analyst

We'reseeking a Senior FP&A Analyst who is an analytical thinker, a creative problem solver, and committed to flawless execution. You will own our recurring reporting cadence - the weekly A/R, sales, and cash reporting that keeps leadership close to the business - andgrowinto a true analytical partner across our brand portfolio. This is not a template-refresh FP&A seat: you will query the ERP directly with SQL, build reporting models others can rely on, and produce brand-level analysis that shapes real decisions. You will report directly to the VP of Finance/CFO and see how the entire finance function of a multi-brand consumer products company operates, from weekly cash management through budgeting, audits, and investor reporting. For this role specifically: you will sit one seat away from the top of the finance function, with direct visibility into how a multi-brand consumer products company is planned, measured, and reported. For an analyst who wants a fast track toward FP&A leadership, this is the kind of seat where you learn how the whole machine works. Key Responsibilities Weekly reporting cadence (primary): Produce and continuously improve our weekly reporting suite - A/R movement and aging analysis across top customers, shipped/sales flash reporting by brand, and daily/weekly cash visibility reporting. Brand P&L and margin analysis: Build brand-level P&L views, gross margin bridges, and channel/customer profitability analyses; investigate variances such as freight cost trends, drop-ship economics, and tariff impacts. Budgeting and forecasting: Support the annual budget and rolling forecast cycles, including revenue builds by brand and channel,opexplanning, and variance-to-budget commentary for monthly reporting packages. Data and dashboards: Write andmaintainSQL queries (SuiteQLagainst NetSuite; Postgres against our Azure-hosted reporting databases),maintainPower Query/Excel reporting models, and build dashboards in Power BI as we expand our reporting toolset. Ad hoc analysis: Support audit requests, lender reporting, and leadership questions as directed by the VP of Finance/CFO - delivering actionable insights with recommendations for next steps. Qualifications 3-5 years of progressive FP&A or financial analysis experience; consumer products, manufacturing, or distribution background strongly preferred. Working SQLproficiencyrequired on day one - comfortable writing joins, aggregations, and multi-table queries against an ERP or reporting database withouthand-holding. Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and complex modelconstruction;you build things others canmaintain. Working knowledge of Power BI, or the demonstrated ability to pick it up quickly - dashboard development is part of where this role is headed. Strong grasp of the three financial statements, accrual accounting, and how operational drivers flow into the P&L and working capital. ERP experiencerequired; NetSuite strongly preferred, Dynamics GP exposure a plus. A self-directed working style - you take a loosely defined question, figure out where the data lives, and come back with an answer and a point of view. A knack for spotting data gaps, reconciling numbers that don't tie, and improving reporting workflows rather than just running them. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience in an investor-backed or lender-reporting environment. Familiarity with Azure-based data infrastructure or Python for data analysis. Experience supporting an external audit (PBC preparation, reconciliations, walkthroughs). Familiarity with multi-brand or multi-entity consolidation.
