Job Description
We are seeking reliable Delivery Drivers with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record to join our local delivery team. You will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods within the local area, working variable daily routes using standard delivery vehicles. This role reports to the logistics manager and requires effective communication and safety awareness to maintain high service standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform local deliveries efficiently and safely within assigned areas
- Navigate variable daily routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Operate standard delivery vehicles in compliance with safety regulations
- Report to the logistics manager and collaborate within the delivery team
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to resolve issues
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic vehicle maintenance as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in delivery driving
- Knowledge of local routes and area geography
- Strong time management skills to optimize delivery schedules
- Customer service experience with good communication skills
- Basic vehicle maintenance abilities
- Proficient navigation skills using maps or GPS tools
- High safety awareness and adherence to traffic regulations
