Entry-Level Computer Support / IT Security AnalystFarouk Systems is a global leader in the professional beauty industry, renowned for its high-quality hair care products and innovative technologies. We are currently undertaking a significant and exciting initiative to upgrade our core SAP ECC 6.0 environment to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, thereby seamlessly integrating with our B2B and B2C customers.We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level Computer Support / IT Security Analyst to join our IT team. This role will provide first-line technical support while assisting in maintaining and securing the organization's IT systems, networks, and data. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of IT systems, strong problem-solving skills, and an interest in cybersecurity best practices.Key Responsibilities:Provide Level 1 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and business applicationsRespond to service desk tickets and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issuesInstall, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and peripheralsAssist users with password resets, system access, and account management (Active Directory)Document issues, resolutions, and processes in the ticketing systemSupport onboarding and offboarding activities (device setup, account provisioning)Assist in monitoring security tools such as antivirus, endpoint protection, and SIEM systemsSupport vulnerability scanning and patch management activitiesHelp enforce security policies, standards, and proceduresIdentify and report potential security incidents or suspicious activityParticipate in user access reviews and identity/access management processesAssist with basic compliance efforts (e.g., audit support, documentation, evidence gathering)Support basic network troubleshooting (connectivity, VPN, Wi-Fi)Assist with system updates, backups, and routine maintenance tasksMonitor system performance and escalate issues as neededRequired Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience)Technical Skills:Basic knowledge of:Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)Active Directory / user account managementEndpoint security concepts (antivirus, firewalls, patching)Familiarity with:Ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)Remote support toolsBasic scripting (PowerShell or similar) is a plusSoft Skills:Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and customer service orientationAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requestsAttention to detail and commitment to security best practicesPreferred Qualifications:Internship or hands-on experience in IT support or cybersecurityIndustry certifications such as:CompTIA A+CompTIA Security+Network+Exposure to cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS)Awareness of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)Working Conditions:Office environmentMay require occasional after-hours support or on-call rotationInteraction with cross-functional teams and end users across the organization
