Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Bed Placement/Patient Placement Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of acute care experience preferred License: RN license required Certifications: BLS Certification required Must-Have: MUST have recent acute care experience, with a preference for 2 years. Must have experience with TeleTracking and Cerner. Must be strong with computers, with a preference for experience with Zoom and all Google applications. Must be able to multitask and possess good customer service skills. Must understand the differences between various departments/units. Description: This position has zero hands-on patient care. The role involves placing patients in the appropriate units. You will assess the type of bed needed and place patients in the correct bed. Critical thinking skills are required if bed requests are inappropriate. Communication with charge nurses or leadership may be necessary. You will work off three screens, using multiple applications. Experience in acute care is crucial, especially within the last few assignments. Strong customer service skills are essential. Flexibility and the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed are required.
