Maintenance Tech Level 1

Reports to: Maintenance Engineer/General Manager Required: High School diploma or equivalent. Rolling tool box & knowledge of tool room equipment Electrical knowledge & hydraulic experience is helpful 1st shift- Monday -Thursday 6:30 AM- 5:00 PM with overtime as needed. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Check inline pneumatic oilers, add oil as needed daily. Pull filter screens on coolant tanks and clean daily. Check the coolant levels and fill as needed. Maintain mobile equipment, Hi-Lo, man lift, floor scrubber, change/check oil levels and perform minor maintenance. Using Preventative Maintenance check sheets, perform preventative maintenance (grease, oil, belt inspection etc.) on equipment as stated. Perform scheduled maintenance on building and grounds. Perform maintenance duties as directed by Maintenance Engineer. Working Conditions Industrial plant setting. Continuous exposure to noise. Safety protection required. Must wear safety shoes, ear protection and safety glasses. Must strive for continuous improvement. Overtime may be required.
