Tow Truck Operator (Flatbed)

Job Description Job Description We are seeking reliable and professional Tow Truck Operators to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a flatbed tow truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) to safely transport vehicles throughout South Jersey while providing professional service to customers. We are looking for hardworking individuals who take pride in their job, are punctual and can work a flexible schedule, when needed. Our ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers and the dispatch team, can manage their time well while on duty, shows dedication and consistency to provide great service. Immediate start available for qualified candidates. Drivers are paid per completed tow, with additional bonus pay available once the daily tow quota is exceeded.

Responsibilities:
Safely operate flatbed tow truck
Respond promptly to dispatch calls and maintain effective communication
Safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles
Properly document activity and provide before and after photos of vehicles being towed
Update tow status using the specified digital platform app (Ex. In Progress, Finished, etc)
Report any issues or incidents to dispatch and customers, when required
Inspect truck before and after trip (any issues are to be communicated to management)
Ensure truck is kept clean and well maintained (any issues are to be communicated to management)
Qualifications:
Valid Drivers License
Must be able to obtain a D.O.T. card
Must be able to pass a drug test
Reliable mobile device (cell phone, Wi-Fi equipped iPad, etc.)
Ability to handle physical workload outdoors (strength and stamina)
Strong work ethic and reliable
Mechanical skills and strong problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Previous experience in truck driving or other related towing services preferred
Must be able to work the scheduled 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM shift
