Under the direction of a Warehouse Supervisor or Operations Manager, the Warehouse Lead is responsible for directing activities in a manner consistent with established goals and company guidelines. This is an onsite job only, working a schedule as follows: Monday- Friday from 2:00PM- 10:30PM, located in Salt Lake City, UT. Pay is $24.50/hr.How You Create ImpactDirect daily warehouse activities within the assigned department.Operate material handling equipment as needed.Make recommendations to the Warehouse Supervisor on processes to improve operations.Interact with Warehouse Supervisor to establish goals.Direct the activities of the warehouse personnel to achieve established objectives.Assist in developing processes to ensure the efficient operation and utilization of all warehouse equipment.Assist in the implementation of processes to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment and property.Oversee the warehouse housekeeping program.Ensure current, accurate inventory control and customer orders are picked and shipped timely manner.Adhere to Kuehne + Nagel's Quality, Safety, Health and Environment Program policies and procedures.What We Would Like You To BringHigh School Diploma or Equivalent3 years of experience in a warehouse environment and 1 year in a lead/supervisory roleAbility to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervisionBasic computer and math skillsLeadership experience in a fast-paced warehouse environmentExperience with personal computers and materials handling equipmentStrong customer orientation and problem solving skills.Ability to develop effective relationships and provide leadershipStrong communication skills - written and verbalEstablish priorities and capable of multi-taskingPossess professional business demeanorProficient in use of personal computers and materials handling equipmentPraiseworthy history of professionalism and leadership.For applicants in the United States: Individuals with a disability who require a reasonable accommodation for any part of the application or interview process may contact us by sending an email to kn.taaccommodations.comWhat's In It For YouThere has never been a better time to work in logistics.
