Lab Technician

Apex is seeking a Lab Technician to support the Research & Technology activities for a global Specialty Chemical company located near Aberdeen, NC.The ideal candidate will have a BS in the Life Sciences and 0-1 year of experience. Summary: Perform routine and semi-routine chemical and physical analyses on a limited variety of materials for the support of technical service, research, and production activities. Role is to perform routine sample testing via documented test procedures. Log-in and report routine customer sample results on a weekly basis, maintain sample information in database, and analysis reports. Provide support and assistance of customer activities as required for quality control. Job Responsibilities: Test field samples Understanding of laboratory tests to be performed on process chemicals/fluids Adhere to the principles of the Quality System Record data in accurate and concise manner. Make laboratory preparations under supervision Help keep laboratory clean and all equipment in good working order Complete assigned work in a timely fashion Adhere to all lab safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment Education: BS in Life Sciences with 0-1 year of experience is preferred Please send resumes to [email protected] for Immediate Consideration!
