Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various types of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout the procedures, clearly explaining each step with warmth and understanding
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Educational Background Required

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
