Position Summary The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for leading, training, and supervising the housekeeping team to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas in accordance with Generation Hospitality Group standards. This role ensures operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and a positive, productive team environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily housekeeping operations including room assignments, inspections, and follow-up tasks. Inspect guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met. Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards as per Generation Hospitality policies and brand guidelines. Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to housekeeping staff. Monitor and manage inventory of linen, cleaning supplies, and amenities; assist in ordering as necessary. Coordinate with front desk and maintenance departments to ensure timely room readiness and guest satisfaction. Address guest complaints or requests promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, room status, inspections, and maintenance needs. Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or housekeeping certifications a plus. Proficient in using housekeeping management software and Microsoft Office. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal; bilingual abilities a plus. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs., and stand/walk for extended period Working Conditions Work is performed in hotel guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and office settings. Exposure to cleaning chemicals, varying temperatures, and occasional noise.
