Responsibilities Assuring proper procurement of specimens for clinical testing. Perform accurate and timely collection and transport of clinical specimens. Identify patients using proper procedures. Accurately label specimens collected. Expedite STAT specimens without delays. Communicate with nursing staff regarding patient concerns. Follow up on collection delays. Transport specimens following established protocols. Adhere to safety and HIPAA policies. Requirements H.S.
