We get to experience and witness radical life transformations.The Retention Coach serves within the Ministry by ensuring employment retention through supporting, advising, and reinforcing key training lessons to the client building solutions to any barriersFull Time RoleFlexibility with scheduleCore Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-3pm, with flexibility for earlier, later and on weekendsEssential Duties And Responsibilities:Maintains relationship/communication with employed clients, conducting bi-monthly one-on-one meetings to assess and address any needsEncourages and motivates employed clients to reach their personal and professional goalsBuilds trust and works with clients to reach their goalsUtilizes outreach tactics and retention incentives to ensure clients remain engaged after moving out of Atlanta MissionAssists clients with non-work-related issues by talking through issues and referring clients to available resourcesHolds responsibility for the job retention of clients for at least 1 yearMaintains internal processing database to document work activity, client progress and communications on all clientsFacilitates vocational classes pertaining to retention, as assignedDocuments clients sessions in Salesforce in a timely mannerCollaborates with transitional housing managers to ensure client progress and program compliance to maintain residenceEngages with Next Steps team in weekly meetings, special events and team activitiesYou will uphold the following Christ-Centered values:Humbly Serve: You strive to live, Love and Lead like JesusFaithfully Steward: You honor and wisely use the time, talent and treasures that God has providedCourageously Innovate: You are driven towards excellence, you continuously learn, adapt and improveJoyfully Celebrate: You intentionally appreciate and recognize all that God is doing in and through all the stakeholders of Atlanta Mission.Strength in Unity: You embrace God’s desire for oneness and kingdom-focused unity.Position Requirements:Experience working with economically disadvantaged adult populations, ideally in a coaching capacityKnowledge of how to refer clients to resources: financial, counseling, food banks, housingStrong project management skills and the ability to organize, multitask and prioritize a heavy workload to ensure client’s needs are met in a timely mannerAbility to work with minimal supervisionAbility to have flexible, unconventional hours to meet clients where they are and accommodate work schedulesAbility to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization, preferredHigh energy and ability to engage others towards a common goalStrong work ethic and business acumen with ability to excel in a fast-paced and high-pressure environmentSkilled in personal coaching on a one-on-one and group settingAnalytical thinker adept in systems and processesDemonstrated work history of resourcefulness and problem solvingAbility to maintain confidentiality of sensitive informationPhysical Requirements:Must have the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing, sitting and/or walking)Must have the ability to constantly operate a computer and other office equipmentMust be able to communicate accurate informationMust be able to occasionally lift up to 35lbsEnvironmental Job Requirements:Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions during eventsModerate noise as in a business office environmentSpecial Job Requirements:Travel to various locations in the city and to clients’ work locations, as neededMust have a valid GA driver’s licenseAccess to a daily vehicle is preferredWhat We OfferEmployee Benefits:Retirement Savings with Matching ContributionMedical InsuranceDental & Vision InsuranceEmployer Paid Benefits:3 Weeks Paid Time Off accrued during your first year10 Paid Holidays4 Mental Health Days/yearLife InsuranceShort-Term DisabilityTravel Assistance ProgramEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Medical ConciergeSpiritual & Professional Training & Development #J-18808-Ljbffr Atlanta Mission
