Physician - Hematology Oncology

Position Announcement: Hematology/Oncology Physician We are actively seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a dynamic and innovative team, dedicated to delivering exemplary cancer care. Our focus is on advancing treatment modalities and conducting clinical trials within a highly collaborative and supportive setting. Role Overview As a Hematology/Oncology Physician, you will: Provide comprehensive patient care for individuals afflicted with a range of malignancies and hematological disorders, such as leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising nine physicians, eight advanced practice providers (APPs), and ancillary staff to deliver specialized, disease-centered care. Work in tandem with nurse navigators and care managers to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient experiences and outcomes. Stay informed about cutting-edge treatments and technological advancements in oncology. Utilize the EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to document and manage patient care efficiently across our healthcare network. Engage in clinical research initiatives and implement novel treatment methodologies. Provide consultations and second opinions for complex oncology cases, devising tailored treatment plans. Partner with a forward-thinking clinical team to uphold the highest standards of patient care. Participate in shared call responsibilities with a large cohort of clinicians and hospitalists, minimizing individual call burden. Work Schedule Day shifts with potential flexibility based on scheduling demands.
