Ultrasound TechnologistKids Are Our Everything.The Division of Diagnostic Imaging and Radiology is located within the hospital (SZ campus) and at the Rockville, Maryland Children's National Imaging (CNI) site. The Division offers imaging services for a complete range of pediatric diseases and conditions.Services provided at the main hospital include general radiography, fluoroscopy, special procedures (interventional), nuclear medicine, positron emission tomography, ultrasound, computerized axial tomography, bone densitometry, and magnetic resonance imaging.Services provided at Children's National Imaging (Rockville, Maryland) include general radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, computerized axial tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging.The Ultrasound Technologist will perform high-quality Diagnostic Ultrasound exams while providing excellent patient care.Minimum Education:High School Diploma/GEDANDGraduate of approved program in Ultrasound TechnologyMinimum Work Experience:Clinical ultrasound experience in a hospital environment (Required)Certification/License Requirements:ARDMS Registration (Required)Functional Accountabilities:Ultrasound ScanningDemonstrate working knowledge of all diagnostic ultrasound equipment and related components.Produce high quality ultrasound scans via appropriate choice of transducer, scale, focal zones, and gain.
