You will be the Inspector Sr for the Inspection Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance. What You Will Be Doing As the Inspector Sr you will be responsible for conducting visual in‑process and completed product inspections of internal defects and mechanical components to verify compliance with written inspection steps, specifications, and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Perform visual inspections using measuring devices, micrometers, and fixtures.
• Accept or reject units based on inspection criteria.
• Follow detailed inspection instructions.
• Document findings and maintain inspection records.
• Train and support other areas of Quality.

Further Information About This Opportunity This position is in Troy. Discover more about our Troy, Alabama location. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.

Work Schedule - 3X12 - 3 12 hr days Fri-Sun; Mo/Tu/We/Th off

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must have the ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Proficient in computer use
• Ability to quickly learn multiple inspection / verification methods and requirements
• Effective interpersonal skills, concise verbal and written communication
• Successful completion of on-site, Alabama Industrial Development Training (AIDT) required prior to start
• Minimum of (3) years documented inspection experience
• Must be available for work at Troy site: 3x12 Friday through Sunday, with the expectation of overtime as required.

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with Apriso/SAP and or related quality systems
• Knowledge of aerospace or defense industry manufacturing
• Experience using handheld and/or digital inspection equipment
• Strong attention to details
• Good organizational skills
