Role Description: We are seeking a qualified applicant to fill the Family Law Paralegal position at our Puyallup Office. Five years of family law experience is required . The Paralegal will support their assigned attorney and legal team, draft pleadings, and work with clients from intake through final disposition. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills, and is comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace. Preferred qualifications include proficiency in Clio, MyPleadings, Linx, and Microsoft Office. The position can be in person, remote, or hybrid. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong knowledge of family law principles and general Law concepts, with five years of experience in domestic relations matters required. Candidates should possess skills in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement documents for family law cases. Candidates should have document review skills, including organizing, analyzing, and summarizing financial records, court documents, and case materials. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear client communication, professional correspondence, and coordination with courts and counsel. Candidates should have strong research skills, including legal research using online databases and factual investigation to support case strategy. Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience as a family law paralegal, proficiency with case management and e-filing systems, strong attention to detail, and excellent time-management skills.
