Job Summary:
The Emergency Room RN in Greenville, Maine, is responsible for providing urgent care to a diverse patient population in a critical access hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves managing various emergency situations and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care. The shift schedule involves nights, with a start date of 07/06/2026.

Job Details:

• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Schedule: Every other weekend rotation and at least 1 or 2 holidays, with flexibility based on rotation needs.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (preferred), NRP (preferred), both for RN and CNA roles; valid Maine State CNA Licensure; 1 year of ED experience for RNs required, 2 years preferred; 1-year Acute Care CNA experience required; no minimum experience required for other qualifications.
• Additional Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced ED environment, proficient in managing ICU hold overs, insulin and cardiac gtts, central lines, BiPaps, vents (RN manages settings with MD), procedural sedation, RSI levels, and triaging.
• Responsibilities involve floatation within the hospital as needed to support Med-Surg and Telemetry units; must be comfortable orienting on the unit for 3-4 days.
• Support on the unit includes charge nurses, nursing supervisors, and a collaborative team environment.
• Equipment: CERNER electronic health records system, Alaris IV Pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, GE monitors, Hamilton T1 ventilators, LifePak 20 defibrillators.
• Uniform: Solid color scrubs, any color, professional.
• Parking: Free.
