School Bus Driver
Position hours based upon routes needing to be filled. Current ay rate is $22.78 - $31.51 per hour
Description: The safe transportation of students
Key Functions:
- Follows designated routes prescribed by the Supervisor of Transportation
- Maintains a clean bus:
- Picks up papers daily
- Cleans windows
- Sweep and dust daily
- Is responsible for student discipline on the bus and follows the prescribed procedure for handling conduct forms
- Maintains current CDL with proper endorsements as required by state and federal
- Follows guidelines while maintaining annual and pre-service certification
- Maintains route sheets per Ohio Revised Code and submits updates on proper forms
- Performs daily pre-trip inspection per state and federal guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
