MODERATOR APPOINTMENTS

5 seats for terms to expire June 30, 2027 The Moderator is seeking volunteers to be appointed to a newly formed committee voted by the Town Meeting, known as the Transfer Station Data and Resource Committee. The committee will consist of five members of the Town, the majority of whom shall be members of Town Meeting at the time of appointment, to be appointed by the Moderator. The committee’s first year serves as a one‑year trial period, after which permanent status will be determined by Town Meeting; staggered enrollment to maintain membership continuity will be considered following the initial trial period. The committee’s charge shall be to meet regularly and work respectfully with town staff to collect, organize, analyze, and catalog all financial data related to the Transfer Station, and to present an annual, comprehensive financial report to Town Meeting. The committee shall serve as a technical and financial resource only and shall not be authorized to establish or directly advise on policy, rules, or regulations. Its primary purpose shall be to isolate and present consistent, transparent financial data—including a complete breakdown of all actual and anticipated revenues and expenses, as well as full waste‑generation analysis—to assist Town Meeting and, subsequently, the general public, in informed decision‑making. #J-18808-Ljbffr Town of Winchester
