Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position on a 30-bed Surgical/GI/Oncology unit, requiring night shift availability and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• 30-bed inpatient unit specializing in Surgical, GI, and Oncology patients
• Night shift schedule: 18:45–07:15
• Epic EMR used for charting
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Driver's License copy required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides direct patient care including implementing and monitoring patient care plans, carrying out physician and nursing orders, and coordinating discharge planning
• Serves as primary coordinator across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care
• Navy or maroon scrubs required
• Local candidates are eligible to apply; a radius rule is in place which may affect the pay rate depending on distance from the facility
• COVID vaccination is not required
