Neurology Account Manager - Central/North Florida

Primary Responsibilities Execute and promote products in alignment with sales strategy in the assigned territory. Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day‑to‑day sales and product promotion strategy. Analyze local market performance and results to maximize appropriate product use in the defined territory. Maintain current product, disease, competitive, and reimbursement knowledge. Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (e.g., budgets, time) within the assigned territory. Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to effectively communicate with identified target audiences. Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels. Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed. Manage travel and promotional budget. Complete required monitoring and reporting, including expenses and call reporting, using approved systems. Maintain full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Vanda policies. Meet industry‑standard credentialing requirements for healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments. Perform additional ad‑hoc projects as needed. Education & Experience Requirements BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0. Valid driver’s license and clean driving history. Self‑starter; goal‑and results‑driven with a proven track record. Hunter mentality; ability to sell and compete. Strong relationships and territory knowledge (preferred). Ability to travel (may include overnights); out‑of‑territory travel to HQs, training, and sales meetings may be required. Work hours may include meetings outside normal working hours. Must reside within territory geography. Performance Competencies (Skills) Goal and results driven; proven above‑average results. Highly clinical, patient‑centric, tactical; excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication. Ability to navigate complex markets and organizations. Outstanding work ethic and organizational skills; dynamic, high‑impact selling/presentation ability. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and make sound decisions. Ability to read situations quickly and adjust for roadblocks. Customer‑focused, self‑motivated, and computer proficient.
