StageBio is seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician to join our Frederick, Maryland facility. Individuals to perform tissue grossing, processing, embedding, microtomy, staining (H&E & special staining), quality control and general histology duties Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety and chemical regulations as outlined in StageBio’s SOPs Prompt and accurate recording of data Daily cleaning of work area and equipment Ability to learn multiple tasks within the field of histology Must be capable of understanding FDA regulations, Good Laboratory Practices and StageBio’s SOPs Be very detail-oriented with both routine lab tasks and paperwork Be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing High school diploma required College degree preferred or 3 years’ experience in histology / pathology lab StageBio offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes employer sponsored health insurance, short-term and long-term disability, AD&D, life insurance for employees and dependents, flexible paid time off, 401(k) with match, and paid standard and floating holidays.
