MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Location: Oxford, NC

Pay: $35.00–$42.00/hour

We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Team and help improve process reliability, product quality, and overall plant performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n
• Maintain plant equipment in accordance with safety requirements.
\n
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant machinery.
\n
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues using logical problem-solving techniques.
\n
• Repair and replace faulty components as needed.
\n
• Collaborate with the maintenance team and other departments to resolve equipment issues.
\n
• Follow all required safety procedures, including LOTO, PPE, confined space, and hot work permits .
\n
• Learn plant equipment and machinery to support effective troubleshooting and maintenance.
\n
• Complete assigned work orders promptly and provide timely updates to management and the maintenance team.
\n
• Organize daily work efficiently and prioritize tasks based on operational needs.
\n
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including the maintenance shop and oil storage area.
\n
• Address safety concerns immediately and take appropriate corrective action.
\n
• Utilize technical manuals, training resources, and ongoing training opportunities to expand technical knowledge.
\n
• Perform heavy physical and/or dirty work when required.
\n
• Provide professional, respectful, and responsive service to internal teams.
\n
• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through on commitments.
\n

QUALIFICATIONS

• Maintenance experience in a plant, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
\n
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
\n
• Ability to safely perform physically demanding maintenance work.
\n
• Commitment to workplace safety and established procedures.
\n
• Dependable, responsive, and team-oriented work style.
\n
• Ability to learn and work with a variety of plant equipment and machinery.
\n
• Willingness to participate in ongoing technical training.
\n
