You’ll quickly feel at home in our professional and welcoming environment, with supportive team members available to guide you every step of the way.With flexible hours, paid training, and the possibility to return each tax season, this is your opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a lasting impact.Join our BT Prep team as a Document Processing Assistant, specializing in either Data Validation, Digital Scanning, or K1-A Validation where attention to detail and technical skills are key.Responsibilities:You will enjoy this role if:You enjoy work that requires a keen eye for detail - if there is a mistake, you’ll catch it!You thrive in an environment where you can work independently in a team-focused setting.You learn quickly and enjoy the challenge of mastering new software.What you’ll do:As a Data Specialist on the on the BT Prep team, you will be an integral member of the firm’s centralized tax processing center.Key Responsibilities:As a Data Specialist team member on the BT Prep team with a Digital Scanning focus, responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Preparation of files for submission into validation softwareResponsible for ensuring the accurate use of separator sheets to ensure proper organization of file within AdobeEnsure client confidentiality by following all company procedures regarding information handlingQualifications:Must have participated in BT Prep for the 2026 Spring Tax SeasonHigh school diploma/GED requiredAvailability: Minimum 30 hours/week (Monday-Friday, 7 am-7 pm CST). Work hours must be spread across at least four days, with a minimum of four hours per day.Strong computer skills and ability to learn quicklyHigh attention to detail and ability to follow proceduresStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work efficiently in a team environmentAvailability to work August 2026 through October 2026The pay rate range for this job position is $16.50hr. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location.
