Facilities Tech/Maintenance Tech (Chillers, HVAC) Base pay range: $35.00/hr - $40.00/hr Location: 100% ONSITE, NORTH CHICAGO, IL Shift: 1st shift Required Qualifications High School Diploma 5+ years of experience with preventive or demand maintenance for commercial HVAC or industrial chillers EPA Refrigeration certification highly preferred (not mandatory) Experience in lubrication, calibration, inspections, and replacement of worn parts Experience troubleshooting and repairing pumps, sensors, motors, chillers, and PLC devices Comfortable climbing ladders and working outdoors, including roof access Day-to-Day Responsibilities Assess building alarms and perform preventive maintenance on air handlers and chillers Change filters and troubleshoot bio freezers and other refrigeration equipment Maintain reliable operation of department assets and meet quality standards Assist root cause investigations and reliability‑centered maintenance analysis Train others on tasks and create or edit maintenance job plans Support continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within maintenance Perform advanced mechanical tasks and preventive maintenance on HVAC/refrigeration equipment, including troubleshooting, ordering parts, and installing components Order materials and parts from stockroom/vendors and initiate work orders Communicate job status to customers and other work groups Seniority Level Associate Employment Type Contract Job Function Manufacturing Industries Pharmaceutical Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr The Fountain Groups
