Residential Manager – OPWDD / IDD Services
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Staten Island, NY 10309

HumanEdge Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Residential Manager to oversee the daily operations of an OPWDD residential program supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

- Oversee the daily operations of an OPWDD residential home.
- Supervise, coach, and develop Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
- Ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations, agency policies, and quality standards.
- Coordinate appointments, medical follow-up, and community activities.
- Monitor documentation, incident reporting, and Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all residents.
- Participate in staff scheduling and coverage as needed.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, clinicians, families, and leadership.
- Previous Residential Manager, Assistant Manager, or House Manager experience in an OPWDD residential setting
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of OPWDD regulations and person-centered services
- Valid New York State Driver's License (Required)
- Clean driving record and willingness to transport residents as needed
- High School Diploma required (Associate's or Bachelor's preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience supervising DSP staff
- Ability to complete required background clearances
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- SCIP Certification
- AMAP Certification
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Experience working with individuals with behavioral or medical needs
- Bilingual (Spanish, Haitian Creole, or other languages)
