About the Role

Pragma Edge is seeking an experienced and commercially driven IBM Maximo Practice Head to lead and grow our Maximo business across North America.

This is a strategic, customer-facing leadership position combining deep IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) expertise with presales, solutioning, sales, business development, GTM strategy, revenue growth, and practice building .

The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable presenting a Maximo solution to senior client stakeholders, running a technical demonstration or POC, supporting a sales pursuit, developing an account strategy, and building the consulting and delivery organization needed to scale the practice.

IBM describes IBM Maximo Application Suite as its unified asset and facilities management solution, bringing areas including maintenance, inspections and reliability together. Maximo Manage is part of the broader suite, with MAS deployed on Red Hat OpenShift.

Key Responsibilities

Practice Leadership & Strategy

• Own and drive the overall IBM Maximo practice strategy for North America .
• Develop the practice roadmap covering market positioning, offerings, capabilities, partnerships, sales, delivery, and talent.
• Build differentiated Maximo offerings aligned with industry requirements and customer business challenges.
• Identify emerging opportunities around IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS), EAM modernization, upgrades, migration, reliability, asset performance, and AI-enabled asset management .
• Establish reusable solution assets, accelerators, frameworks, demos, and best practices.
• Work closely with Pragma Edge executive leadership to establish practice priorities and growth plans.

IBM Maximo / MAS Expertise

• Bring strong hands-on and architectural expertise across IBM Maximo Application Suite and Maximo Manage .
• Provide leadership for MAS solution architecture, implementations, modernization, upgrades and migrations.
• Understand MAS architecture, integration, security, data, customization and deployment considerations.
• Provide technical leadership across complex Maximo opportunities and customer engagements.
• Stay current with IBM's Maximo product direction and ecosystem.

Presales, Solutioning, POCs & Demonstrations

• Lead Maximo presales activities from discovery through solution definition and proposal.
• Conduct customer workshops to understand business requirements, pain points and desired outcomes.
• Architect and present compelling Maximo solutions.
• Lead and support POCs, prototypes, demonstrations, workshops and technical presentations .
• Develop solution proposals, presentations, RFP/RFI responses, estimates and statements of work.
• Translate technical capabilities into measurable customer business value.
• Serve as a trusted Maximo SME during executive and technical customer discussions.

Sales & Business Development

• Take an active leadership role in generating and closing new Maximo business .
• Partner with sales teams to identify new logos and expand existing accounts.
• Build relationships with CIOs, asset management leaders, operations executives, IT leaders and other decision-makers.
• Participate throughout the sales lifecycle, from opportunity identification and qualification through solutioning, negotiation and closure.
• Develop strategic account plans and identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
• Represent Pragma Edge at industry events, conferences, webinars and customer sessions.

GTM Strategy

• Define and execute Go-To-Market strategies for the Maximo practice.
• Create industry-focused Maximo solutions and campaigns.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing on messaging, campaigns, webinars, events and thought leadership.
• Identify priority industries and accounts where Pragma Edge can differentiate its Maximo capabilities.
• Develop GTM plays around Maximo implementations, MAS modernization, upgrades, managed services and transformation programs.

Revenue & Pipeline Ownership

• Own the practice's revenue growth and sales pipeline development .
• Build a healthy and sustainable pipeline of Maximo opportunities.
• Establish regular pipeline reviews and opportunity strategies with sales leadership.
• Improve conversion from qualified opportunity through proposal and closure.
• Maintain visibility into pipeline, bookings, revenue and practice growth.
• Balance short-term deal execution with long-term account and practice development.

IBM & Partner Ecosystem

• Develop strong working relationships with IBM Maximo sales, technical and partner teams .
• Collaborate with IBM sellers on joint opportunities and account strategies.
• Increase Pragma Edge visibility and credibility within the IBM Maximo ecosystem.
• Identify opportunities for joint GTM initiatives, client events, demonstrations and solution campaigns.

Team Building & Practice Development

• Build and scale a high-performing Maximo consulting, architecture and delivery team .
• Identify required skills and participate in recruiting senior architects, consultants, developers and functional specialists.
• Mentor and develop Maximo architects, consultants and future practice leaders.
• Establish competency frameworks and technical standards across the practice.
• Build a scalable mix of U.S.-based and offshore delivery capabilities.
• Promote knowledge sharing, reusable assets and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience with IBM Maximo / Enterprise Asset Management solutions.
• Strong expertise with IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and Maximo Manage.
• Experience architecting and leading enterprise-scale Maximo implementations, upgrades, migrations or transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in presales, solution architecture, POCs, demonstrations and customer workshops .
• Proven experience supporting or driving sales and business development for Maximo/EAM solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise deal pursuit, RFP/RFI response, estimation, proposals and solution presentations.
• Experience developing GTM strategies and enterprise technology offerings .
• Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and engage senior business and technology executives.
• Experience building or scaling consulting/practice teams.
• Strong leadership, presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to combine technical depth with commercial and revenue-oriented thinking .
• Willingness to travel within the United States as required for customer and partner engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Maximo Practice Head, Practice Leader, Chief Architect, Solution Director or similar leadership role .
• Experience working within the IBM partner ecosystem.
• Experience developing relationships and opportunities jointly with IBM sellers.
• Exposure to multiple asset-intensive industries such as utilities, energy, manufacturing, transportation, infrastructure, facilities or government .
• Experience building Maximo managed services, implementation or modernization offerings.
• Strong executive-level customer communication skills.
